Nice cherry-picked statistics. That “77 cents to a dollar” myth is total trash. No real economist takes it seriously at all. Just think for two seconds: if it were actually true, then within each job, men would necessarily be replaced by women. That’s just Econ 1 basic principles. Also, your graphs depicting “educational level” don’t actually account for the differences in majors between males and females. You don’t think that that contributes to average income differences? Just take a look here: according to The Economist “When all job differences are accounted for, the pay gap almost disappears.” Down to ~1%! https://www.economist.com/blogs/graphicdetail/2017/08/daily-chart

And look, even if we go back and forth about different studies, different controls, a couple of percentage points here and there etc., the fundamental problem is this: you pass off your evidence and subsequent interpretation of that evidence as the absolute, measuring-stick truth, when in fact the real truth is that there are many perspectives to these sorts of issues, each with their own strong claims to the truth. You neglect that fundamental fact and instead proceed to push your glaring ideological slant.

The rest of your “le epic takedown of da scaawyyy rayciss sexisss” was just too braindead and biased for me to finish reading, but I imagine it’s more of the same crap.

Also, I don’t know what Brad told you, but the “Trumpian faction has lost their seat in power”??????? HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA. I’m actually a long-time member of BCR, and from what I understand, this whole thing is just Brad being a failed power-monger who can’t come to grips with reality. The reality is, barring Armageddon, Troy will remain our fairly-elected and popularly-supported president for the rest of the year. As far as I’m aware, nobody in the club even likes Brad! That’s why he had to haul in a bunch of pledges from his frat to stuff the votes. From my understanding, Brad had his pre-selected people sign a convention sign-up sheet that he tried to pass off as a special election voter eligibility sign-up sheet, which is total bullshit. Nobody in the club, and certainly not any active member, even remotely supports impeachment! However, according to Devlin, the vote for impeachment was 30-2 in favor, which is utter nonsense! Banana republics don’t get those numbers! Numbers like those could make Kim Jong Un blush!

You talk of an “old faction” and a “new faction”, and BCR being a “headless snake without direction.” The truth of the matter is, Troy remains, and will continue to remain, our president. Nobody in the club, except for Deluded Brad himself, disputes this. It’s quite comical in fact. I urge you to ask around! As far as “direction” goes, right now, the leadership is probably figuring out how to deal with Devlin’s embarrassing and quite frankly, dishonest behavior. The general membership is mad that he pulled what essentially was a coup on us, circumventing our democratic volition. Brad’ll probably get impeached. That is, if he doesn’t sober up and allow a sense of shame/decency to compel him to resign on his own.

Lastly, even though I’m not particularly pleased with Brad’s behavior, and even though Brad has put himself in open conflict with both the leadership and the general membership of BCR, I find it really shameful how you, Curtis, get him to interview with you, only to basically rip him up. I get that this is an opinion piece, but even still, you deliberately got the guy to meet with you, just to go on and embarrass him? Now everybody knows Bradley is just some dupe! Just plain immoral, Curtis. Your half-baked arguments and cherry-picked statistics don’t at all justify the invective you hurl against Bradley. It seems like you’re trying to appear like some sort of “hard-hitter”, but you’re actually coming across as merely a moron with a self-inflated ego and a fight to pick. Don’t expect any interview from any member of BCR in the future.

The Free Speech Movement is dead. Last night, the Berkeley College Republicans’ constitutional right to free speech was silenced by criminals and thugs seeking to cancel Milo Yiannopoulos’ tour. Their success is a defeat for civilized society and the free exchange of ideas on college campuses across America. We would like to thank UCPD and the university administration for doing all they could to ensure the safety of everyone involved. It is tragic that the birthplace of the Free Speech Movement is also its final resting place.

Man, why did you cite an article on British gender income gap?
